What to expect as a new client

All services at Points of Origin begin with a Pathways Consultation, which helps ensure that you are connected to the most appropriate support.
Pathways Consultation Overview

During this initial step, you can expect:

  • a brief, guided conversation about your current needs with one of our Clinical Team Members
  • support in identifying the most appropriate service pathway
  • clarity on therapy, InternChat, or community-based options
  • discussion of insurance, availability, and scheduling
  • recommendations aligned with your goals and preferences

This process ensures that your care begins with intention, clarity, and alignment.

Teletherapy session access and meeting links

To support a smooth and stress-free experience, all teletherapy sessions are scheduled in advance through our system.

New clients will receive their secure teletherapy meeting link the day prior to their scheduled session.

This allows you to:
  • prepare your space ahead of time
  • ensure access to the session without last-minute stress
  • feel more grounded and ready to engage
