Community Mental Health Conversations in Nature
Reflective Support & Community Connection | Points of Origin Counseling Support & Education Center
Park Chats is a community mental health initiative hosted by Points of Origin Counseling Support & Education Center, offering welcoming outdoor conversations focused on emotional wellness, reflection, and community connection.
These gatherings take place in local park spaces where individuals and families can engage in meaningful discussions about mental health, emotional resilience, personal growth, and everyday life challenges in a relaxed and accessible environment.
Park Chats create opportunities for community members to pause, reflect, and connect with others who are interested in building stronger emotional awareness, supportive relationships, and healthier communities.
Park Chats are informal, reflective community conversations about mental health and well-being held in public parks and shared outdoor spaces.
Unlike therapy sessions, Park Chats are designed as community support conversations where participants can explore topics related to emotional health, life stressors, and personal development in a comfortable and open setting.
These conversations are guided by facilitators from Points of Origin Counseling Support & Education Center, creating space for thoughtful dialogue and respectful listening.
Topics commonly explored during Park Chats include:
- Emotional stress and everyday life challenges
- Relationship dynamics and communication
- Self-awareness and personal growth
- Community mental health awareness
- Building resilience and emotional regulation
Participants are welcome to share their experiences, ask questions, or simply listen and reflect.
Park Chats support the belief that mental health awareness and emotional wellness grow through connection and community dialogue.
