Shameka Chanel

Points of Origin, LLC was founded in 2013 by Shameka Argo, a Greenville based clinician from Kansas who began serving the community through mental health in 2008.   Ms. Argo attended  the University of North Carolina, where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a pre-med concentration.

In the years since obtaining a Masters from Webster University, she has found that her time working inpatient, in the community, as a school based therapist and in private practice is something not to be taken for granted.  It has more than grown her personal passion to teach others to be unapologetic in the love we have for ourselves that drives her as a therapist.

This passion also led Ms. Argo to work to become a licensure supervisor, further cementing her capacity for learning and teaching.  As Points of Origin, LLC undergoes changes and restructuring, the goal is to focus on the underserved through Teletherapy while reframing life coaching and continuing to serve both children and their families.
